Bosque de dudas

Parece malsana costumbre ya que los cambios de gobierno signifiquen el destape de un sinnúmero de realidades negativas, al parecer ocultas por una bien aceitada propaganda o informaciones distorsionadas que sólo muestran su cara verdadera cuando llega el nuevo mandatario o juiciosos miembros de corporaciones públicas debaten el panorama presente. Es lo que parece estar ocurriendo en Neiva con el megaproyecto de vivienda Bosques de San Luis del cual, en primer lugar, siempre nos dijeron que serían 5.000 soluciones habitacionales. Pero ahora resulta que no, que no sólo la cifra no es real puesto que se trata de 3.900, cifra alta en todo caso y, sobre todo, que requiere cambios sustanciales  para hacerlo viable.
El Concejo de Neiva, con la Dirección de Vivienda Municipal, han mostrado el estado del megaproyecto, y la conclusión es que la inversión que se ha hecho es  cuantiosa y los resultados obtenidos no son para nada óptimos. Los concejales afirman, textualmente, que nos han quitado la venda de los ojos y que Bosques de San Luis se puede convertir en un gran elefante blanco, esto es una obra pública de las que pululan en el país: proyectadas como grandes soluciones y dejadas finalmente al abandono, con su cemento y hierro al aire libre.
Un hecho notable es que de los 940 apartamentos ya construidos, apenas 200 están habitados o en proceso de legalización. Y entre los motivos es que fueron adjudicados a familias que no cuentan con los mínimos recursos para adecuarlos, son muy pequeños, apenas 48 metros cuadrados en un clima tan alto, y tienen evidentes problemas de suelo en la zona. El panorama es altamente preocupante, considerando además que el Municipio de Neiva ya tiene disponible todo el dinero que le corresponde aportar pero la gran masa, el aporte del Gobierno Nacional, aún está en veremos porque, al parecer, en Bogotá hay serias dudas del avance de las obras.
Y como si le faltaran patas a este gato, incluso se discute ahora el perfil y estrato de quienes han resultado beneficiados con la obra. Sin querer aparecer discriminatorios, no se puede permitir que la zona se convierta en un tugurio de interés social.
En el Concejo se oyeron voces en el sentido de proponer la parálisis del proyecto para rediseñarlo a fondo, especialmente  por las probables dificultades del suelo en esa zona del sur de Neiva. Lo que se avizora es un gran dolor de cabeza para la nueva administración de la ciudad, pero tendrá que hacer uso de sus mejores recursos y creatividad para darle viabilidad a una obra en la que se comprometen más de $140.000 millones, es decir más de 80 millones de dólares, una cifra descomunal en cualquier país.
Irrita sobremanera que ahora se conozca tanta improvisación, negligencia y una falta de planeación en una mega obra que estaba llamada a disimular en parte el desgobierno municipal que acaba de pasar. Un verdadero enredo el de los Bosques de San Luis.

El derrame de 11.500 galones de combustible tras un accidente de tránsito ocurrido en La Jagua no debe pasar inadvertido. Las autoridades ambientales deben investigar el impacto que haya generado en la zona afectada y adoptar medidas para mitigar los daños.
